Symphos builds Orcho.

Orcho is a production harness and control plane for AI coding agent delivery: agents are the workers; Orcho owns the profile, the pipeline, the gates, the evidence, and the delivery decision. Symphos is the company behind it.

Open source

The engine (orcho-core) and the MCP server (orcho-mcp) are Apache-2.0, developed in the open under the symphos-ai GitHub organization and published on PyPI. Everything a run produces is plain local files in a directory you own - there is no service-owned store to migrate off.

Stage

Orcho is in public alpha: released, installable by anyone, not yet stable. The delivery protocol is real and exercised daily; surfaces may still change between releases. Project status on the docs portal states exactly what is treated as a contract today and where the scope boundary is.
